Purpose of the tool
The data collection plan is used to systematically organize and standardize data collection within a project. It serves as a set of instructions that the team follows when collecting data. It does not contain the data itself.
-
Example: Entering key figures
This example outlines how the OPEX team collects data so that it can later be displayed in a dashboard.
The data collection plan shows that data is collected over a one-month period and that the data sources are diverse. It would be worth considering whether this could lead to a future project aimed at standardizing the data sources.
